Z1 has a contract with AMS, and has since before AMS decided to create their own manifolds. Regardless of the fact that their manifolds are merely suspect to begin with, is Z1 just supposed to cancel their contract? They sell plenty of AMS products to non-tt.net members, so it wouldn't make sense for them to go through everything to cancel a contract anyway. Apple didn't get out of its contract with AT&T, despite the fact that they might have sold double the amount of iPhones initially if they'd had another service provider. I think it's ridiculous that members here are VTDing Z1's posts. If you don't want to buy their products, don't, but they're running a legitimate company, so I don't see the harm in letting them post their products for sale if everyone here seemingly knows better than to buy AMS products anyway. Boycotting Z1 won't put AMS out of business. Z1 is a valuable member of our community, regardless of the ridiculous politics of this board, and in 10-20 years when our Zs are a classic car, I have a feeling we'd regret not having such a large company providing products for our cars when small and simple updates are much harder to find and more expensive to buy. I just don't believe it's wise to narrow down even more the already-narrow list of Z32 product providers and innovators.
Cheers, JBrobst
